Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
The construction industry is responsible for 43% of all annual energy consumption in France, and emits 23% of the country’s greenhouse gases.
Portalp acknowledges the significance of its role in limiting these environmental impacts. That’s why our CSR policy is founded on three major pillars: the environment, social affairs, and ethics.
Our actions for the environment
We implement environmentally focused measures at each step of our product life cycles, from the materials we use to their elimination.
Ecodesign
–
We use sustainable and recyclable materials, as well as eco-responsible manufacturing practices, particularly for our railway projects.
Supplier
evaluation and selection
We apply stringent environmental criteria when selecting our partners, and we prioritize French and European suppliers.
Waste
management
We implement waste sorting and recycling at all our locations.
We currently recycle 92% of our manufacturing waste, all while aiming for 95%.
Regional
partnerships
We collaborate with local actors to encourage the creation of a circular economic model, particularly through our computer hardware recovery partnership.
Green and
solar energy
A planned solar panel installation project for autonomous energy use and surplus resale.
